problems inserting sounds files from itunes

I cannot insert sounds from my itunes playlist. It says that teh format or
the path may me wrong. What should I do? The file is named as MPEG-4
audiofile.

Probably the music is DRM protected. So you are out of luck.

You need to convert the file to something compatible with PowerPoint. PPT
can't play the MPEG-4 or M4P formats.

There may be some DRM (digital rights management) built into the file also,
so even if converted, it may not play on computers other than your own. If
you're certain you're within the copyrights for the song file, you can try
burning as an audio CD and then ripping the CD back to your harddrive as an
MP3 sound file using something like Audacity sound editor.

Did you find an answer on inseting sound files from your itunes to a Power
Point slide? If so, please pass that information on. I am having similar
problems.
On some sound files in ITunes the power point says it cannot insert a sound
from the selected file and to verify that the path and file format are
correct.
