Problems Installing Office 2000 Professional on New Computer

Hi, I just bought a new computer and would like to install my Microsft Office
Professional 2000 on my new computer. When I tried it and entered the
registration key, I got the message that it is an invalid registration key. I
have double and triple checked it. Any suggestions on what I can do next?

package you purchased separate from the old computer?
