Problems installing Office 2000 SP-3

I reinstalled Office 2000 from the CD - no problem. I went to Office Updates
site and updated to SP-1za. Installed fine. When I try to upgrade to SP-3 it
downloads fine but then says installation failed. When I open Word (or Excel
or Powerpoint) and check About Word (or Excel or Poerpoint) it says SP-3
althouigh Microsoft Office Update thinks otherwise. When I check the
installation history there is no SP-3 to be seen!! Unfortunately I cannot
install all the security updates until this is resolved.

Any help would be appreciated.

I manually installed SP3 and then ran Office update. It worked. Thanks for
