Problems installing outlook 2007 with Vista O/S

Steve Jones

I have succesfully installed the trial version of office 2007 but when I try
installing the 2nd download containing outlook 2007 it tells me to install
the office 2007 trial version first.
Obviously it doesn't recognise I have already done so and activated it
succesfully.
O/S is Vista Ultimate
Does anybody have any suggestions?

Uninstall any prior version of Outlook, then install Outlook 2007 and then the Business Contact Manager add-on.

I uninstalled both office versions 2003 and 2007 then disabled the user
account protection feature of Vista.
Then I installed the first download containing the trial version of office
2007 followed by the second download containing outlook 2007 with business
contacts manager.
There is no option to install outlook 2007 seperately from the business
contacts manager add on in the trial version of office 2007 because the first
download contains the ofice suite less outlook and the second download
contains outlook and the business contacts manager add on.
I still get the same error when I try to run set up from the second download
it tells me that office 2007 must be installed prior to installing outlook
2007 and advises me to run CD1 which I cannot because it is a download from
the web site instead of the CDs.
Any further suggestions?
