Problems to add a field at "Project details"

Hi.

I've problems trying to add a field at the "Project details" section
(Project center/«select project»/Edit).

As the note "Note : To edit a field that is not shown above, open the
project in Project " at the bottom of the page says, I followed the steps to
publish a customized field; however, I didn't have results.

In other words: I need to add the field "X" at the "Project details" section
for my projects.

Thanks for any comment or track about it.

The Project Details page displays all custom enterprise Project outline
codes and only those custom enterprise Project fields that do not contain a
formula or a value list. If you need to edit a custom enterprise Project
field that contains a value list, you must edit this field by opening the
project in Project Professional 2003 and then click Project - Project
Information. Hope this helps.

We are experiencing a similar problem, but that we are unable to edit the
Enterprise Custom Fields in Project but are only able to edit them through
PWA Edit Project Properties. When using Project to edit Project Information
for any of the Enterprise Custom Fields we are able to save the changes to
the project and Publish the project without receiving any errors the system
indicates the project has been saved then published. But, if you re-open the
project the changes have not occured in either Project or PWA. Is there
something we are missing or doing incorrectly?

What version of Project Server are you using? 2002, 2003, and 2007? Let us
know.

We are currently using Project Server 2007, Project Pro 2007, and PWA in
SharePoint 2007

All I can tell you is that I have experienced this as well but
inconsistantly and I cannot reproduce. Usually if I make the change again,
it sticks the second time around.
