Problems while changing "project owner" under PWA

I am trying to change the manager for a set of tasks in an existing project. For this after changing the owner of project from web access when i am trying to open the project from proj professional, its giving error and closing again and again. Changing the owner back to original is also not resolving it

Any ideas

project in Project.

There is no error message, simple project prof is giving the standard fatal error box and if want to send the report to Microsoft

Sumit.
