We use Project Server 2003 for managing projects in our company
When opening one of our administrative projects, the following error occurs
There was en error opening the enterprise resource pool.
You may not have sufficient permission to access the selected resourse(s). Would you like to retry
When choosing Cancel, the process of importing resources continues with no additional messages
But, when one tries to add a resource on any assignment, another message occurs
The resource list is too long.
A resource list that contains more than 256 characters cannot be edited or deleted or used on the To line of a message
Use the Resource Information dialog box to edit long resource names
The problem here is that we imported resources to Project Server from Active Directory, so the resources’ names consist of names and surnames, and that’s the reason the lines consist of more than 256 characters
