Problems with contacts disappearing from my address book

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Processor: Power PC Email Client: pop Recently most of my contacts disappeared from my address book. I have not carried out any imports or exports, so I have no idea how this has happened. I am using Entourage version 11.4. Please does any one have any ideas how to solve this?

Do you have sync enabled in ENTOURAGE. If so, do you have more than
one module enabled for sync. If you have more than one module enabled
for sync that might explain what happened. Its really hard to tell
though from you description.

There's tons in this forum on sync issues plus a workaround.
