Problems with exporting to excel from Projece web server 2003

Techie in need of assistance

Using terminal services i have 2 users testing on the same machine
1 person can export 1 person can't - yet they have the same rights and use
the same IE settings.....? can anyone assist?

error message reads

the ActiveX control on which this feature depends could not be reached.
Because of this error, you can only copy the XML data to the clipboard. Do
you want to continue?

now they can do this save it with a .XML extention and then open it from
within excel!
i have reset profiles and trawlled the net..... Can anyone help me???????

Did you find out what was causing this as I am experiencing a similar problem
with one of my users. All of a sudden the export facility started doing this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sadly i did not and the problem sstill exists - if you come across the answer
pleasse could you let me know a nd similarly i will do the same.
