Problems with Front Page 2002

Fernanda

Hi there,

I am having some issues with FP 2002 when adding an external link. Here is
what happens:
1. I open my webpage on "HTML" mode and place the code (hmtl) below:

<!-- BEGIN link CODE -->
<table>
<tr><td align="center"><img src="http://www.domain.com/images/banner.jpg"
alt="Alt text" border="0"><br><a href="http://www.domain.com/page.cfm">Anchor
Text</a></td></tr>
</table>
<!-- END link CODE -->

2. When I change to "Normal" or "Preview" mode I don't see the image or
text, but only the raw HTML.

Could you help me with that?
Thanks,

Fernanda

With your web open in FP, why don't you open the page in Normal/Design mode, insert your image, then
select the image, right click and select hyperlink properties and then browse or enter the link to
your page.

The problem is that I received the code/link from another website. The image
is on their server and I need to add the image, line break and the text
(which is actually the link).
Is there a way to paste the code provided in HTML mode so I'm sure the link
looks exaclt like they want?
Thanks

Ok, as long as you are pasting in the code as shown below in HTML view, then you should see the
image if you currently have a open internet connection when you view the page in your browser and do
not have any popup blocker applications installed. You may want and test the page on your
live/remote server.
