I am new to designing a web page, so it may be me, but when I am finished
designing my page and view it in preview, everything looks great, so I go
ahead and launch it, only to find that there are problems with buttons and
pictures, words are over lapping each other. Someone please tell me what to
do to fix this.

.
This won't fix the problem, but Preview in Browser will
help resolve problems before Publishing.

If you're using an external FTP program to publish your site, don't forget
the hidden _borders, _theme, and _derived folders.

Also, you should avoid absolute positioning and line drawing objects.
