Problems with Frontpage hyperlinking

A

Akil

Hi!

I have a candidate.htm file in a folder:
MyWebs\formfolder\candidate.htm

I have put a link from candidate.htm to go to index.htm (ie
MyWebs\index.htm)

This link just refuses to work.At the same time I am able
to link to other HTML only pages with formfolder.Links to
any .doc files from candidate.htm do not work.Links to
external websites on the internet do work.

index.htm has some javascript but candidate, htm is purely
html

Please help
Thanks/Akil

Have you created a web and if so what is the name??

MyWebs should contain a folder that is your "web" and
displays the FrontPage web Icon when the MyWebs folder is
opened. Example: yourweb
Then the index.htm and the formfolder "folder" needs to be
in yourweb
Then you create the link in candidate.htm to index.htm

If you haven't created a web in FrontPage and then opened the
web to work on it, FrontPage doesn't know it's working in
a web site and it can't create or maintain the correct hyperlinks.
