Problems with linked dBase tables in an Access 2000 db

Scott Honn

We receive files from a government agency in dbase
format. We used to use Access 97 to link to these tables
and delete bad records then run a VB app for reports.
When we converted the 97 db to 2000 we can no longer
delete the records we need to. Can anybody help?

You can run multiple versions of Access.
A97 was great for dBase and Foxpro files.
It changed a lot in A2000.

I would consider still using A97 for this purpose untile the file structure
is upgraded.
