Hi. I wasn't sure which newsgroup to post this to since I am not sure which
program is causing the problem. I am running Windows XP Home SP2, with
Office 2000. My toolbars at the top of Outlook (Standard, Advanced) keep
resetting themselves so only the Standard toolbar is showing. (If in the
inbox view, it has the icon for New message, the printer icon, reply, reply
to all, forward buttons, send/receive, etc.). I had the same problem at
times with Office 2000 running on Windows 98 second edition. I remember
deleting a file named outcmd.dat and reopening outlook and it would then
work and hold the setting, I want the standard and advanced toolbar to show.
The same thing has been happening with Office 2000 on my new computer which
is running Win XP Home SP2. I again have found and deleted outcmd.dat, but
have had to do this much more frequently than with win 98. Does anyone have
any possible solutions, causes? I would appreciate any help I could get.
Thanks.
