problems with photos

Hi,
I recently changed from Windows 98 to Windows 98 Sec.Ed.
Then, I received a message that there was a problem with
the graphics. Now, when I try to view a photo that has
been saved to "My Documents" all I see are numbers and
letters.
I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to fix.

Are you trying to open the picture in Word? Word is not a graphics app. You
can use Insert | Picture | From File to put a picture into Word, but you
cannot open it with Word.
