Problems with Project Center on PWA

Anybody else experiencing unaccpetable load times with the Project Center
view on Project Web Access? Project Center takes at least a minute to load
while everything else on the site works fine.

I noticed a hotfix covering it...article 838882 but after obtaining the
hotfix and installing there has been no improvement in performance.

I'll obviously be getting in touch with Microsoft about the hotfix not doing
anything but is anyone else having issues and have you figured anything out?
