Problems with saving

I have a friend who the last 7-10 days have had problems with Word2002. If
he wants to save a document the box where you can write the filename simply
just doesn´t come up. That means that he is not able to use Word at all.
Also he has noticed that the pc in general has become very slow.
Could this be virus-related? Or ....???

Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi,

I am having the same problem. The interesting part is
that after I created a new user account - after I login as
that user, I am able to save. My account still does not
work though. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be
greatly appreciated.
