problems with sound and movie clips

For some reason my powerpoint is opening clips with Moviematch jukebox and I
can't figure out how to change that so it will open them with Windows media
programs. This is causing clips I put in a presentation to say the file is
missing, etc when I try to email the presentation. Also, the clips that are
in Windows media player are not playing when the recipient gets the file?

You do not mention the version of PowerPoint you are using. This can be
rather important when trying to solve problems, especially media related
problems.

On your computer -- it sounds like MovieMatch has stolen your MCI settings.

A movie file is always linked from the presentation, never embedded. The
link can be relative or absolute, depending on the location of the movie
file when it is 'inserted' (insertion really is a misnomer). Chances are
that the movie file was either a) not included in the stuff sent to the
other computer, or b) linked using an absolute link that was not matched.

Also look at a new add-in that helps movies play on almost all other
systems. Most excellent add-in that is a must for PowerPoint users that
include multimedia.
