Problems with table formatting

I am using styles in my documents, including a style for table heading and a
style for table contents.

Sometimes the top row of text from a table will jump off the rest of the
table and appear at the top of the page as a seperate table box. I don't
always notice and I am preparing documents for print, so this is quite
annoying

If I insert a row and retype the text it will stay there, but usually in
these cases if I reapply the style it will jump off again.

This style, however seems to work fine in many other documents and in other
tables within the same document.

Any ideas??

Make sure that the table heading style includes "Keep with next."

Thanks Susan, if it pops up again I'll try that. It's strange tho=ugh, how it
does it on some tables and not others. The style is the same for all of them.
