Problems with table

I am having a problem getting my 'news' table to be at the top of the
column. I worked with some great people yesterday, but am still having
an issue.

Steve,
You're almost there. You've set the alignment for the table cell
that the news words appear in to have a vertical alignment of top. This
won't exactly do what you want since it only effects the word News. What you
want is to find the cell that the news table is part of and set that to have
a vertical alignment of top.
