Problems with the files ".dll" and "proplus.msi".

Hello there !

My son dawnloaded several games from the web together
with a lot of garbage. I did a clean up and removed
properly (through control panel) the unwanted programs.
Now, when I turn on the computer, I get the following
warnings: "problems loading .dll files", and also "instal
the file "proplus.msi" from the instalation package of
the Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage".
When I bought the computer, the dealer installed the
Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage, but I do
not have the CD. I do not want to go to the dealer to
resolve the problem (I do not trust them). I am getting a
lot of annoying small windows all the time and have to
click "cancel" several times. In addition, I can not open
MS Word or Excel. What can I do to resolve the problem?
Could you help me please?

Thank you for your time,

George Quintero

If you did not get the original CDs, you have an excellent reason not to
trust them. Without those disks, you cannot reinstall the programs.

Other than taking your receipt back to the original seller, you really have
no other choice than topurchase the programs again. (I'd suggest filing a
complaint with the Better Business Bureau but that won't help your computer
problems.)

Sounds like a virus has had its way with your computer.
Depending on which virus, you will likely have to reload everything
AFTER you remove the virus.
