I have upgraded my Office 2000 to Office 2003, and now, in Outlook, the
sending and receiving of mails will only be initialised if i right click the
Outlook button in the base of the Desktop, pretending I am going to Close, or
Restore etc. the application!! This is madness. The knowledge base only
comes close to suggesting a fix which is to disable the DNS, if it set. Well,
as far as I can see, it isn't, so I am stuck...until one of you clever people
can help me out.
Also, I am not sure if this is associated with the above problem or not, but
the icon in my systray (right bottom corner) for the MS Outlook synchronising
folders thingy, when double clicked, says that Outlook is not responding, and
that I can cancel the mails if I want to. If I then try to 'restore' Outlook
from the button bar, it won't open! I should have stuck with Office 200 me
thinks.
