Problems with Word Viewer 8.0 on Windows 2000 Professional

Elena

I have a PC on Windows 2000 Professional. I need to use the 97 viewers
that have installed into a server. When I try to launch Word Viewer
8.0( installed in the server) from this PC the following error
appears: 'The Dynamic link library MSO97v.dll could not be found in
the specific path' After copying this library, the message is: 'There
is not enough memory or disk space to run Word Viewer'
In this PC we try to install MS Office 2000, and doesn't work. Then we
try to unintall it, and install MS Office 97 and doesn't work.
Only if we install viewers locally, we can launch this application in
the server.
Is there any incompatibility? How can run this viewer without install
viewers locally? Thanks, Elena.

Hallo Elena

Try to uncompress the .cab file within the setup file. WinZip for
example can extract a file in an archive in another archive. If all
files in there are in the same directory then wordview.exe it will
work.
