problems with word2002

I'm not sure wither my document is corrupted or not, but
everytime I enter a word(edit something, even a space),
the program hangs and gives me the "don't/send report"
with these values in the log file:
AppName: winword.exe
AppVer: 10.0.4219.0
ModName: msgvar32.dll
ModVer: 1.0.0.123
Offset: 0003fe97

can anyone help??
