Problems with WordArt distortion - Publisher 2007

Hi

I'm wondering if anyone else is having the same problem:

I've just upgraded from Publisher 2000 to Publisher 2007. I'm used to using
WordArt in Publiher 2000, but in 2007 the text is coming out 'crushed'
(distorted with the text out of proportion - taller than it should be in
comparison to the width). In comparison to normal text in Publisher it is
very obvious.

I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium and Microsoft Office Professional 2007.

Any help would be appreciated. Regards,

Thank you for your response.

I've installed the add in and restarted my machine, but on the Insert Object
dialog no WordArt option is listed. Is there an additional step with 2007
that I've missed?

Regards,

Simon

Do you have an old Publisher document that includes WordArt? What happens when
you double click the WordArt?
I have all the Publisher programs so I don't know when I installed the add-in. I
know it was before 2007 and it does work for 2007.
I know this doesn't help your situation, but maybe by double-clicking an old
WordArt Publisher will add it to its object menu. Is the old WordArt available
in Word?

If I double click the WordArt in an old Publisher document I get the message
'Publisher cannot launch or communicate with the OLE server program needed to
complete this task. ...'

I think I'm going to have to go back through the Publisher documents I use
most, replace with new WordArt, and use format WordArt to resize new style
objects to 140% width (by experiment these look in the same proportion to old
WordArt), that, and Publisher seems to handle text frames in the foreground
page over text frames in the master pages much better.
