procedure to change outgoing mail from Port 25 to Port 587

I have been informed by my server Verizon.net in order to keep sending email
I must change Port 25 to Port 587. I have tried several times to do this but
have not been able to accomplish it!!

Sorry, but this newsgroup is for questions about setting up and configuring
Access, the database product that's part of Office Professional.

While you might be able to find a more appropriate newsgroup here in the
Microsoft hierarchy in which to repost this question, my suggestion would be
to ask your ISP how you should do it.
