Is there someplace I can find free templates, examples, etc. to write a
step-by-step procedures manual?

I would like the ability to inset a logo, change fonts, etc,

I did a procedures manual about two years ago and I couldn't find templates
anywhere. And believe me, I looked. What I did was to Google for online
manuals for similar businesses. I used the manuals as a basis for mine. I
had to create the template but I had ideas of what I liked and didn't like
based on what I found. Plus I found a few topics that we needed to include
but hadn't thought of. ;-)

I had to write one of those manuals years ago and it was no picnic. So, I
sympathize with you completely. If your company has a PR department, find
out if they have directions on styles that are acceptable to the corporation
for all publications published. If they do, follow that.

Just how broad a scope does this procedures manual cover?
