Hi,
I recently became responsible for maintaining a small database at work that
was developed with access 2002 and I was looking at obtaining a copy of
Office XP Pro for my home PC so I could familiarize myself with access.
If I were to buy a used copy from ebay or craigslist or someplace like that
are there any pitfalls I should be aware of in regards to Microsofts Product
Activation ? In particular if someone sells me a used copy does the Office
License Agreement allow them to transfer that license to me ? If so how
would I go about doing this (i.e. could I just call the number for telephone
product activation and let them transfer/activate it or my machine) ?
Any help with respect to this issue is appreciated.
