I have a new computer and I am unable to install office
2000 professional says invalide key code . I am using
windows xp

Is this copy one that came with the previous computer? Did you ensure that
you are reading the code correctly, e.g., not mistaking the B for an 8 or
vice versa?

I am having the same problem .. I am trying to reload an
upgrade version of XP Office onto a hard drive that had
to be totally rebuilt and reloaded (including the OS) ..
I don't know where the original Office CDs are .. am I
SOL ? Any workarounds ?

I am having the same issues. I am trying to install an OS to my computer (hard drive has been wiped) and when i get to the product key code screen, I am getting an error message. I have the original Office CD.. Are there any solutions out there???
