Product key for office 2003 trial

Hi, I just bought a new notebook and I was trying to initiate the free trial
version of office 2003 trial, I looked at the code that came on the microsoft
works & money cd jacet but it does not belong to the office trial as it says
on the instructions.
I urgently need word to work, pls. some one help me. Thanks
