product key?

Is this a guessing game?
Because you're not turning it in the correct direction?

why doesen't my product key work?

Because you didn't enter any product key.
Because you entered the wrong characters.
Because you are using a product key for the wrong product (i.e., a different
one).
Because you are trying to use one that you got off the Internet (i.e., you
are trying to pirate the software - and instead got burned).
Because it is a demo version of the product and its trial period has
expired.
Because you are entering a product *code* that you used a utility to extract
from the registry rather than the product *key*.
Because ... well, I have more informative posts to respond to rather than
waste more time guessing what "doesn't work" means for you.
