Prof 2003 accessing Sever 2002

Can the newer clients (prof and PWA) be used with the
older 2002 server? If so, can you point me to doc where
this is discussed?

Hi MikeS,

In my experience this cannot be done - i think the access is limited to read
only when trying to access a 2002 server with a 2003 client.

I found some MS documentation which says:

1. MS Proj Professional 2003 can connect to MS Proj Server 2002 and 2003.
2. MS Proj Professional 2003 cannot connect to Project Central.

I cannot find anything about PWA.

Project 2003 CAN connect to Project Server 2002.
Project 2002 CAN connect to Project Server 2003.

PWA is specific to the server so connecting PWA 2002 to Project Server
2003 not possible.
