I`m having outlook 2000 running on XP machine.Recently I
got an error as "No profiles found . Plz configure it
using mail icon is control panel". Problem still persists
even after a successful Re-installation of Office-2000.
This happens when only my user login to the system . Hope
somebody helps me to cross the loop .

Cheers,
Jiju

Are you working in IMO mode or CW mode? Have you recreated the mail profile
as stated?

Make sure you have Outlook in CW mode or you won't be able to add the
Exchange service to your profile;
To change the installation type from IMO to CW, follow these steps:
1.. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2.. On the Mail Delivery Tab, click Reconfigure Mail Support.
3.. On the E-mail Service Options page, click to select the mail support
option you are switching to. Click Next.
4.. Read the warning message and then click Yes. Outlook will close.
5.. Start Outlook. The Windows Installer will start and install the
required files.
