Anybody recall the source of the \Program Files\Plus!\Themes directory?
I think that is was part of Office 97, or some optional download.

Any ideas?

Ayup, looks like most of the files are in a CAB on the Win 98 CD-ROM.
However, extract pulls them off with short file names.
Need the long file names.

Microsoft Plus! pack was a MS add-on product that started with Windows 95. Teasers to have you be interested to expand your
purchases were included in later Windows version, such as Win98 and What was on Office 97 in the /valupack/ was a patch to update
the graphics filters from MS Plus! Windows Desktop Themes switcher to work with Office 97ere was part of it in the Office 97
/valupack/ folder as well.

The latest versions areMicrosoft Plus! Digital Media Version
and "Microsoft Plus! SuperPack for Windows XP"

so there's a variety of sources what you have may have come from over time under that product banner.

I see a \VALUPACK\PATCH\Themes.exe file, is that the critter?

The latest versions might not be relevant

I stumbled upon a software "bug" in several well known products that fail to
handle the 4 files I had listed.
I'm trying to find a source to which to point the software cojmpanies to
prove my point.
