I cannot print a document written in Word 2000 (part of
the Office 2000 Standard suite), WordPad or NotePad.
This is what happens: the document stays in the print
queue for a long time before this message finally
appears: "This document failed to print. Click here to
open the print queue, and then for assistance, click
Troubleshooter on the Help menu." When I open the print
queue, I notice that the size of the document is 1.42 KB
even though the print job only has this sentence: "Will
this print?"
When I cancel Word, WordPad or NotePad, they freeze and
this message appears: "Word (or WordPad or NotePad) is
not responding."
This is what I've done: I know that the printer (hp psc
2110 all-in-one) and the computer are connected properly
because I have double-checked their status with an hp
technician. I have also completed a repair on Word 2000
and even reinstalled the software for the printer.
I'd be extremely grateful if someone could help me solve
this problem.
