Programs won't open

whenever I click on word or excel, they do not open. they start to
open, but they never fully open. I even double click and still
nothing. The last thing i tried was restarting and I cannot open the
documents. I need some help. If anyone knows how to help me, than
please do ASAP. I need to be able to open my documents.

I posted a snottogram to someone here asking the same question. Telling
them to Google the group, it has been done to death.
Later I remembered that Google groups index has been unwell since the
18th of July.

So, with my apologies, here is what they were supposed to find.
Rosetta was fried by the Quicktime 7.2 update for many users of Intel
Macs. If that is you, see this

Go to www.apple.com/quicktime/download and click on download now,
once
it is finished downloading go through the installation and it will
prompt to restart your OS, and after doing so you will be able to
launch your Office applications successfully.
