Progress Curve

If I have developed a project schedule, how can I see the projected progress
percentages? i.e. what percent complete should I be a month or 2 months from
now?

Try this in a spare text column (set a formula)

str(IIf([Status Date]<[Start],"0",IIf([Status
Date]>[Finish],"1",ProjDateDiff([Start],[Status Date])/[Duration]))*100)+"%"

You need to set the status date to a date of interest.

Think about Trevor's post very carefully.... When Project calculates
%Complete it is doing it on duration which is probably the silliest way to do
it. When you talk about %Complete, you have to define % of what? You take
two numbers and divide them ... what are they? Work? Budget? Duration? The
formula above works on duration.... really really lame, but the question gets
asked here at least twice a month.

Trevor,

Yes, you're right. I should have mentioned that the % complete should be
based on workhours. # of hours completed / budgeted hours.
