Out if 19 responses, help for the poster 0!

John Marshall, Doug Steele and Duane Hookum are all MVPs and provided no
help to the poster!

All the above wave their banner about how they care about the newsgroups and
they proclaim Access users can comne to the newsgroup to get answers and yet
all the above spent significant time spieling their venom but did not spend
a moment helping the poster.

And now take a look at the first response to the poster and who responded.
That was the only help the poster got for his question.

No one ever said your answer was wrong, Steve. The complaint was that you
did not give credit to the original poster of the code.

Since Nuno already had an answer that (hopefully) met the requirements,
there was no need for anyone to post additional solutions. (Of course, had
Nuno came back with additional requirements, I'm sure additional solutions
would have been posted.) However, there was, in our opinions, a need to
teach you proper netiquette.

attitude like that. One of the first things taught is cooperation.

For your information, MVP, I graduated from a top engineering school and
spent my engineering career of over twenty years in the oil refining
industry. You apparently didn't learn anything in whatever school you went
to (if you went at all). If you did go to school, you must have spent all
your time around the keg spieling venom about every one you could think of.

Wrong again (as usual). I'm a fourth generation engineer, disciplined in
civil, mechanical and electrical.

That "top engineering school" could not have been that great if they did not
teach teamwork and ethics. Or diid you skip those classes?

Arno: In this case, I would think that Keith meant it in the context of Quod
Erat Demonstrandum.

For the benefit of those without a backgroup in Latin, that means "which was
to be demonstrated", and is typically used at the end of formal proofs to
indicate that the proposition stated has now been proven.
