Proj 2003 SP1 and Timesheet issue

We have applied SP1 hoping that the problem with Timesheet not submitted
messages would go away. The problem is that on the user's home page, it says
timesheets are not submitted when they have been submitted, approved, and
updated by project managers. Is anyone else experiencing this
problem...particularly anyone who has found a resolution?

Sure, there's a hotfix in KB.

You should wait for rollup that will include all hotfixes and can be
installed on top of SP1.

Guys, this is a server problem not a Project Professional 2003 SP1 problem.
You need to contact microsoft and the KB number is KB830820

We are having the same unsubmitted timesheet issue on our Project. We
installed SP1 for Project Server but the problem was not fixed.

I migrated a Project Server 2002 to Project Server 2003 SP1.
The clients are Project Professional 2003.
We worked three months in this configuration, after this I installed SP1 on
the clients (Project Professional 2003) also.

The employees now have three warnings on their Homepage mentioning
unsubmitted timesheet, although they submitted everything.

I will let you all know if applying SP1 to both client and server solves the
problem (maybe republishing will be necessary).

Does this problem occur when both Pro and Server have SP1?

I started working with only the server having SP1. I now updated the Pro
installations to also have SP1.

I don't know what to expect now. Do I need to republisch all projects in
order to get rid of the warnings?

If I find out, I'll let you know ....

Has anyone found a way to correct this unsubmitted message problem for
previous periods without requiring people to go back and make changes
and resubmit their time? We have SP1 on both Pro and Server.

We had to delete and then reimport a project, and when we did that we
got dozens of unsubmitted time reports for the entire previous month
(since the start of the project). These people have all of their hours
stored correctly for those months, but they also have the unsubmitted
time message (as do PMs and Admins). When we try to change their hours
and resubmit/update, it removes them from the list. However, when they
go back and change their time to what it is supposed to be, it puts
them back on the unsubmitted list!

Thanks,

David
