I administer an installation of Project Server 2002 with multiple
users using Microsoft Project Professional 2002. Currently I have
over 50 projects saved in my server environment.
I have a project schedule of 819 lines/tasks. Within that project I
have 12 tasks that will not maintain the adjusted % complete when
updated in Project Professional. Currently the schedule is saved on
the server but it is not presently collaborating with the resources.
The odd thing here is that the schedule appears correctly in the
Project View of the Web Server, with the 12 tasks showing the desired
% complete.
I have opened the file from the server and changed the % complete
multiple times but when the file is reopened the % complete on those
12 tasks reverts back to the prior values.
To summarize the Project Pro version of the schedule does not show the
correct % complete but the Web Server view shows correct.
Has anyone seen this? Does anyone have any suggestions or
recommendations?
I have experienced corruption in other project schedules but there has
always been an event that warned of impending doom. This schedule in
question is my personal schedule and there have been no warnings, no
errors on save, nothing to indicate I might have lost integrity.
However it certainly appears to be less than perfect at this point.
Thanks for helping.
