Proj server 2007 Client integration

lata vesa

At work we use Project 2007 Professional and Project Server 2007 and PWA
2007

When I try to connect to the Project client by using forms authentication menthod after I put in my credentials and click open Project I get a message saying this "Login failed, project could
not connect to the server"

I can login to PWA from IE, the URL I specified in "Project Server Url" in
the forms authentication method I used the same url I used to login using PWA web access.
I would like to know how the access and provisioning works in Proj server 2007. We are using LDAP authentication with forms based.
Anyone with expertise can help i would appreciate.

Thanks
Lata

WE use the windows authentication option and since we have the same
user account in the proejct server adding the right path is all that
is required.

For forms authentication, I suspect that you will need to have a
corresponding user account in the project server. The rest is the
same, just put a name for your project server in the Account Name and
then enter the url as you would do for your PWA and click ok. I would
also select the default option so that it will pick up this account
next time you open project. Remember that you will need to exit out of
project completely and log back in for the changes to be recorded.
