project 16:9 format

I am creating a presentation on my PC and have created a slide in 16:9
format (Page Setup) but I have been told by my videotechs that this
will not show correctly on 16:9 plasma screens as it has been created
on a 4x3 machine and the size needs to be adjusted slightly- Is this
tripe or correct? If it is correct what size do I have to create the
slides in to display correctly without distortion of any kind?

I think the problem they are refering to is that the plasma screens may not
have exact 16x9 ratio. There are screens with 15x10, 15x9 and 16x10 ratios
too. It is essential that the plasma screen resolution is verified to
determine the exact ratio.

I normally format as you have in 16:9 to create the presentation. IMPORTANT
once it is finished set the page back to 4:3 and tell the plasma to stretch
the picture. On your computer the image is "squeezed" but on the plasma it
will look fine
