I created a project in Project 2000 saved it to my hard disk and then
updated/loaded it to 'project server 2002'.

Now how can i access this project on the server via project 2000 ?

When i logonto the project server 2002 via the web and try to access this
project there is an icon right by the project title and it says 'Cannot
access this project from the project server'.

Does anybody have an idea why ?

Thanks

Because Project Server 2002 only serves as a data repository if you are
using Project 2000. You need Project 2002 Pro.

So
there is no way i can make Project 2000 client work with project server 2002?

can i have a setup where project managers load projects using project 2003
clinet on project server 2002 and let others use web client to view and
update ?

Thanks

HI,

Yes. That's the intended usage pattern. Everyone who needs to schedule uses
Project Professional, all other users can use the web based front end
Project Web Access
