I've installed Project 2000 on a few Windows XP SP1
machines, and half-way through the installation I'm
usually prompted to insert the Windows XP SP1 CD. The
prompt doesn't allow me to change the XP SP1 CD location -
it just looks at the CD-ROM drive.
That's fine when the installation is local, but I want to
install it on several machines that are offsite. I'd like
to install the software via Active Directory policy, but
I don't want to have copies of the XP SP1 CD floating
around just so remote users can install Project.
Does anyone have any thoughts about how to get around
needing the SP1 CD?
