How to find out whether project 2000 installed on my pc is standard or
professional.

Hi,

This difference did not exist in Project 2000
The only difference is that the professional version connects to Project
Server and Standard doesn't.
And since there has never been a Project Server 2000...

Simple, there is no professional version of Project 2000. However there
was a Project Central for Project 2000. It was the forerunner of Project
Server.

The biggest thing you need to watch out for with Project 2000 is to make
sure it has the SR-1 update. It should show in the "About Project"
screen.
