I have created a global template, but when I want to
default "Show Project Summary Task", it will not default
to new projects created from the global tempalte, why?

You are misunderstanding the purpose of the Enterprise Global file. Yes, it
is a template, but it is not the template used for creating a new project
when you click the New button.

If you wish the Project Summary Task to be displayed in every new project
you create, you should create and save an enterprise project template in
which that option is selected. In fact, to make life simple, you could
start with a blank project file, display the Project Summary Task, and then
save the project as an enteprise template. Each time you need to create a
new project, click File - New, click the General Templates link, then select
the Enterprise Templates tab and open your template. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response, I guess I assumed that becuase it
was in a section of the EG that you could default other
information, you should be able to also default "SHOW
PROJECT SUMMARY TASK."
