Project 2002 logon problems

Using MS Project 2002 Pro on Win 2000 Pro machine. Am able to connect to Project server via PWA, have full administrator rights, enterprise is enabled. Cannot logon to server thru Project ( window user account or project server account), but if I work offline, and select Resource centre, or project centre, I get logged on. I can publish project as well. Project server works fine on other XP machines ( can logon with my name on other computers)

All enterprise features are grayed out. Any thoughts on potential problems?

When someone sees that enterprise features are grayed out, this normally
means that they have not set up their Project Server account information in
Microsoft Project Professional, which is preventing them from logging into
Project Server. See the Resolution section at the following link for the
potential solution to your problem:

http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Project Server FAQs/pubnonenterprise.htm

Let us know if this solves your problem. Hope this helps.

Thanks, but the accounts have been set up. Although I can't properly log on when I start Project ( must work off-line), when I click on Collaberate->Resource Centre or Project Info, Project logs on to the server, using my Windows account. I can publish, view the resource info, etc, but the Enterprise options are still greyed out.
Any other thoughts?

What error are you seeing in Microsoft Project Professional when you try to
log on using your Windows User Account? Precisely how have your set up your
logon account in the Microsoft Project Server Accounts dialog box? Let us
know and we'll try to help. Thanks!

When I start Project ( either with automatic connection state, or manual connection state)the following messages are returned

"Microsoft Projct was not able to connect to the Microsoft Project Server

If you retry and still...
Check your Network connectio
Ensure that the administrator has enabled Enterprise features...
Contact your server administrator...

followed b

"Cannot Connect
Microsoft Project was unable to establish a connection with the selected Microsoft Project Server. This could be caused by a loss of network connectivity, invalid username and password, lack of enterprise global template, ...... etc

The enterprise global template exists, I have full administrator rights to everything on the server

The account is set up as Windows User account, with the appropriate URL ( which tests fine). Again, when I select any available project server functions, Project immediately logs me on, no errors
Again. thanks for your time

In the Microsoft Project Server Accounts dialog box, is your login account
set to log you in using your Windows User account? In Project Web Access,
is your user account included as part of the Project Managers group? In
PWA, has your administrator actually enabled enterprise features? Any of
these could be contributing to your failure to log into Project Server in
Microsoft Project. Let me know.

Hi again
Yes the server accounts is set to WIndows User Account, In PWA, I have full administrator privileges, and have included my user name in every default group provided( and have checked to ensure every tick box is checked for permissions), and yes the Enterprise features are enabled. I am sure it is probably a server communication problem, but servers are not my area of expertice, and our network administrators aren't showing alot of initative to solve the problem. I was hoping that there might be a few maybe's I can take to them to try out. I have read pages of discussion group topics, seen similar concerns( problems) but nothing that seems to fit my specific trouble

Again thanks for your input
