Hi everyone,
A project server 2002 question. What does it take to move
the Document Libraries of one project to another drive
(due to diskspace constraints). Documents have already
been created and we need to ensure that they continue to
be accessible from the project web. We plan to do the
following:
1) Move the physical directory of this Document library
(under the webserver root) to the new location. Currently
it has a directory name such as "116" but there is no
virtual directory for this.
2) Create a virtual directory with the same name for this
new directory with the same name. (For example "116").
3) Project server admin ->Sharepoint admin-> edit subweb
address: No change in the subweb address will be required
since the IIS virtual dir now points to the new location.
Will this take care of it? Is there an easy way to do
this? Would appreciate suggestions/ideas.
