Project 2003 Calender Question

Steve

If I already have a project using the "Standard" calender and have tasks scheduled for, say, january 5th, but if I go in and make january 5th a non-working day, will Project 2003 readjust the schedule and move those tasks to the next working day, assuming everyone is using the same calender

Thanks
Steve

Steve --

If you set January 5th as a nonworking day on the Standard calendar in the
Enterprise Global file, and the Standard calendar is used as the Project
Calendar for each project, and the Standard calendar is used as the Base
Calendar for every resource in your Enterprise Resource Pool, then yes,
tasks scheduled in any project on January 5th will be moved to the next
available working day. That is part of the power of the tool. Hope this
helps.

Do you have to republish assignments, or is it done without any user intervention?

It is automatic and is done without intervention.
