Project 2003 - Formatting Consolidated Projects

P

pjelliott

Allied to my previous question, I have 12no programmes that I have
consolidated into a Master Programme.
Each of the 12no programmes has the task bars formatted in a different
colour to aid identification.
However, when viewed within the Consolidated Master Programme all of the
bars are the same colour and I cannot seem to be able to change them despite
manually clicking on each bar and changing the colour.
Can someone please tell me how to format each of the tasks (imported
projects) in a separate colour?
many thanks
Kind regards
Peter

INFURIATING!

A colleague found a solution by accident:

Right click on bar to format it (as I was doing) and the colour changes in
the format dialogue box, but not on the programme.

Double-click on the bar instead and exactly the same format dialogue box
opens, change the colour options therein and the bar colour changes on the
programme.

Exactly the same process just accessed differently: one by a right-click,
the other by a double-click.

How totally infuriating is that?

ARGH!!!!

Hi pjelliott,

Sorry, I can't reproduce what you report. Both methods (right
click, Format Bar or double click) work fine in my consolidated
project.

Does this occur with all consolidated projects or just one?

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
